Mr. Danny James Locklear, Jr., "Li'l Danny", of Lumberton, NC, was born January 28, 1991, in Robeson County, NC and he passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Rockingham, NC, completing his journey of 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Danny Locklear and Atonya Hunt; his paternal grandparents, Rufus and Emma Revels; and his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Rose Oxendine.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Shaniya Locklear and her mother, Shavonia, both of Lumberton, NC; his stepfather, Tyrone Davis of Lumberton, NC; two brothers, Damien Hunt and Daniel Locklear, both of Lumberton, NC; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Hunt of Lumberton, NC; an uncle, Ernest Bell (Jackie) of Lumberton, NC; 7 aunts: Angela Hunt (Perry), Carol Locklear (Bobby), Michelle Gales (Michael), Melissa Oxendine, Joy Hunt, Anastasia Brewington, and Velma Locklear, all of Lumberton, NC; as well as a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Vision of Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at the Church Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with the Revs. Windell Hunt and David Hunt officiating.
