Danny Denor Britt's Obituary
Danny Denor Britt, age 64, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville. He was born September 13, 1953 in Robeson County. He was formerly employed as a driver for Swing Transport, boasting a clean, 46-year career without any accidents nor tickets.
He was preceded in death by his son, Sterling Denor Britt.
He is survived by his parents, Jimmie Britt and Illa Mae Benton Britt of Lumberton; his wife, Jimmie Kaye Sellers Britt of the home; his siblings, Dean Britt and wife Cheryl of Lake View, SC and Beth Hunt and husband Stevie of Lumberton; three sisters-in-law: Jennifer Sellers, Sherry Floyd and husband Giles, and Cathy McLamb, all of Lumberton; special caregiver and friend, Connie Hite; and two very dedicated Sunday School teachers, Bobby Cox and Tommie Hodge, who both contributed to Danny's spiritual growth.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rick Foreman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Lumberton Baptist Church Food Bank, PO Box 2545, Lumberton, NC 28359.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
