Rev. Daniel Wilsber "Cigar" Williamson Sr. age 93 of Fairmont passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 29, 2014 at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bobby Cartrette officiating. Family will receive friends Friday November 28, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Fairmont, NC. He was born January 9, 1921 in Columbus County to W.J. and Ethel Nance Williamson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two wives, Aileen B. Williamson and Iola P. Williamson; three sisters, Louise Smith, Dorothy Wilborn, and Rachel Thompson; and two brothers, Kay Williamson and Jay Williamson. He is survived by three sons, Danny Williamson of Lumberton, Kenny Williamson of Monks Corner, SC, and Mickey Williamson and wife Susan of Fairmont; four daughters, Frances Ivey of Lumberton, NC, Judy Lane of Lumberton, NC, Sue Quick and husband Ronnie of Bennettsville, SC, and Phyllis Robbins and husband Larry of Lumberton, NC; one brother, Edward "Pug" Williamson and wife Louvenia of Chadbourn, NC; seven grandchildren, Kaye Atkinson, Don Atkinson, Renee L. Carter and husband Jamy, Wilbur Lane and wife Janet, Kinly Williamson and wife Karen, Skyler Williamson, and Melody O. Woddle and husband James; and two great-grandchildren, Chad Atkinson and Jaylin Hunt-Williamson.
