Daniel Forester Sealey, age 77, of Lumberton passed away at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC on Thursday, November 21, 2024. He was born in Robeson County on March 10, 1947 to the late Rembert Felton Sealey and Edith Belle Attaway Sealey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Falls Sealey; son, Richard "Ritchie" Daniel Sealey; sister, Lavonia Rigsbee; and brother, Felton Sealey.

Daniel loved the beach and his grandson, Cayden, was the apple of his eye. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force until he had to return home to care for aging family. Daniel was a hard worker and provider. He worked for Lowes for over 20 years and owned Horne Fence Sealey Landscaping. He was a great supporter of the Robeson County Fair. Daniel was a people person and never met a stranger. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Lumberton.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Howard and husband Bryan; grandson, Cayden Howard; sisters: Grace Scott, Joyce Oliver and husband Edwin, and Carolyn Jones and husband Ron; sister-in-law, Mary Neil Sealey; and special family friend, Becky Parnell.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Meadowbrook Cemetery, 400 E. 24th Street, Lumberton, NC 28358. The family will greet friends after the service. Rev. Josh Owens will officiate the service.
