Dana Rae Reeves, age 27, of Lumberton passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on November 22, 1987 to David Ray and Angela Dyson Reeves. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Earl Ray Reeves, and Kenneth Hedgepeth; great-grandparents, Purdie and Viola Reeves, and Lonnie and Pearl Nealy; great-grandmother, Louise Snipes; and an uncle, Kevin Earl Reeves. Ms. Reeves is survived by her daughter, Hailey Rae West of Lumberton; parents, Ray Reeves of the home, and Angela Dyson Reeves of Lumberton; grandmothers, Jewel Reeves, and Pat Hedgepeth both of Lumberton; uncles, Randy Dyson and Jody Dyson both of Lumberton; and many other family members and friends. A time of visitation will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015 one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Harrell officiating. Burial will follow the service in New Hollywood Cemetery.
