Dalton Allen Hayes, age 78, of Fairmont, NC died on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Fairmont.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 24, 1938 to the late Alex and Stella Dean Hayes.  He was a veteran of the United States National Guard and then was self-employed in food service.

Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife, Gloria A. Hayes of Lumberton; and his daughters, Lori Webb of Fort Mill, SC and LeAnne Hayes of Lumberton.

A time of visitation with the family will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.
