Mrs. Virginia Dale Lee Fisher, age 73, of Lumberton passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. She was born April 12, 1941 in Robeson County to the late Clara Mae Cox Lee. She worked at Burlington Industries in Raeford before opening a home daycare. She was an active church member and her love for children showed as she served as a Youth Sunday School Teacher for many years.

Along with her mother, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, J.C. Fisher; two brothers: L.W. Lamb and William Horace Lee; and one sister, Doris Ross.

Mrs. Fisher is survived by a daughter, Regina Fisher Valenta and husband, Kevin Joseph Valenta; a grandson, Adam Fisher Valenta; a brother, George Howard Lee; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 22, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015, at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Johnson and Rev. Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens.
