Cynthia Upton Spivey, age 66, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on October 8, 1957 to the late Bill & Margie Spivey. She was an educator for many years

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Spivey.

She is survived by her brothers, Bryan Spivey (Jill) of Asheboro, NC and Chuck Spivey (Debbie) of Franklin, TN; her nieces and nephews: Megan Spivey Turits (Ben), Charlie Spivey (Camelia), Allison Spivey Fiore (Francis), Dylan Spivey, Devin Spivey, Derek Spivey, and Darbi Spivey; and her great-niece and great-nephews: Charles McNeill-Spivey, Asher Fiore, and Reese Fiore.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
