Cynthia Tew Mynatt, age 72, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Woodhaven Nursing Facility in Lumberton, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse & Lois Tew; her niece, Christina Ann Boyce; and her brother-in-law, Richard Franklin Taylor, Jr.

Cynthia is survived by her sister, Debbie Taylor of Conway, SC; a special friend, Jan Sellers of Fairmont, NC; her cousins, Donna & Monroe Williams of Lumberton, NC; and her Shih Tzu niece, Sammie Taylor, of Conway, SC.

Cynthia will be remembered as an avid reader, sometimes reading 3 or 4 books a week. She enjoyed retirement and loved spending time with her sister and her dog at the beach.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
