Mr. Curley Jacobs Jr. of Fairmont, NC was born on June 18, 1958 in Lumberton, NC, He went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2022, making his journey of 64 years. Mr. Curley Jr. was born to the late Curley Jacobs and the late Emma Jane Freeman Jacobs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Leigh Chavis.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Ms. Theresa Ann Smith; three sons, Charles Allen Jacobs and wife Candace of Red Springs, NC, Brian Jacobs of Shannon, NC, and Adrian Jacobs and wife Kayla of Lumberton, NC;  and three grandchildren, Milaniya Jade Jacobs, Jeremiah Faulkner, and Indya Benson. He is also survived by two sisters, Martha Jane Hunt of Fairmont, NC and Vicky S. Locklear and husband Darryl of Panama City, FL; two brothers, Mike D. Jacobs of Raynham, NC and friend Jean Gail of Pembroke, NC and Ricky Lynn Jacobs and wife Vicky of Fairmont, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Curley loved his family and country. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1976-1982.

We, the family, would like to thank the North Carolina State Veterans Home and Pruitt Hospice for taking great care of Curley.

A time of visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 1:00-2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC. A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00PM. Burial will be private.
