Ms. Crissie Lee Jacobs Locklear, of Fairmont, NC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 3,1930 in Robeson County making her journey of 94 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Wilbert Jacobs and the late Ruthie Hunt Jacobs; her husband, Andrew "Buddy" Locklear; a son Timothy Locklear; two brothers, Emanuel Jacobs and George Jacobs; a daughter-in-law, Loretta Locklear; and a brother-in-law, Bill Plock

She leaves to cherish her memories four sons, Ronald Locklear and Ted Locklear both of Fairmont, NC, Larry Locklear of Rowland, NC, and Roy Locklear of Charlotte, NC; five daughters, Rachel Hunt (Glen), Mary Hunt, and Betty Jacobs all of Fairmont, NC, Livian Hunt (Bobby) of Waxhaw, NC and Barbara Oxendine (Robert) of Lumberton, NC; four sisters, Earnestine Plock of Waxhaw, NC, Sandra Chavis (Kenny) of Texas, Teresa Hunt of Fairmont, NC and Tonette Hunt of Pembroke, NC; nineteen grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Eastside Independent Church, 2691 Dallas Road, Lumberton, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow in the church at 3:00 PM.

Burial will follow in the McDonald Holiness Church Cemetery, 4291 McDonald Road, Fairmont, NC.
