Correna Broadaway Lovette Daigrepont, age 93, of Lumberton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 16, 1931 to the late London Von Rogers and the late Carrie Williams Rogers.  Correna was a longtime employee in the meat market at A&P Grocery Store and later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her previous husbands, Joel Nathan Broadaway, Carl Lovette and John Joseph Daigrepont; her son, Wayne Broadaway and her daughter, Judy Blackmon.

She is survived by one son, Clayton Dean Broadaway of Dublin; one daughter, Nora Dove (Glenn) of Bladenboro; two sisters, Kathleen Prevatte Mitchell of Virginia and Sarah Ann Rogers Grimsley of Lumberton; twelve grandchildren, Tony, David, Carrie, Nathan, Joel, Christy, Chris, Cindy, Angie, Mandy, Brandon and Lauren; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 2:00-3:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 3:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darrin Moore officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
