Corless Sweat age 80, of Fairmont, NC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 31, 1945 in Robeson County to the late Lula Mae Hunt and the late Olin Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Sweat; five sisters, Donna Bell Lockley, Irene Oxendine, Elease Callahan, Betty Carol Hunt, Marie Schmale and La Rue Hunt; two brothers: Olin Hunt, Jr, Franklin Hunt.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Jeremy Sweat, Brian Sweat (Mistie), and Devin Sweat all of Fairmont; four daughters, Terri Sweat (Jermaine Emanuel), and Adrian Sinclair-Davis (Jerry) all of Fairmont, Joy Hunt (Matthew) of Red Springs, and Courtney Paige (Chris) of Fairmont; seven grandchildren, Shayla, Danielle, Jasmine, Jeremy, Cameron, Jada, and Derrick; twelve great-grandchildren; her caregiver, Jennie Addison and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed music and watching TV. She spent the majority of her life serving God and singing for Him.

A time of visitation will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont.

A funeral service will be held Monday, February 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Church of God, Hwy. 130 Fairmont.

Burial will follow in McDonald Church of God Cemetery.
