Corinne Britt Lovette, age 97, of Lumberton, NC died on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 12, 1919 to the late Eli and Sarah Elizabeth Edmund Britt.  She previously worked at Jasper Textiles as a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; four sisters; and two sons-in-law, Bill Lundy and Jerry Inman.

Mrs. Lovette is survived by her sons, John Lovette of Lumberton, Kenny Lovette (Cyndi) of Florence, SC, and Jerry Lovette of Lumberton; daughters, Janet Lundy, Cathy Inman, and Ann Stone (W.J.) all of Lumberton; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A time for visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2o16 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Long Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Brett Young and Pastor Jeff Broadwell officiating.  Burial will follow in Britt Cemetery.
