Corey Dean Brewington, age 22, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015. He was born in Robeson County, NC on May 2, 1993 to Richard Dean Brewington and Carolyn Hunt Brewington. He worked as a machine operator for Contempera Fabrics. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stoney and Alberta Hunt, and K.D. and Ila Faye Brewington. Mr. Brewington is survived by his parents; his brother, Christopher Lynn Brewington of the home; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A time of visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Elizabeth Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Oxendine, Rev. Tommy Carter, and Rev. Jeff Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairmont.
