Connie Huggins Oxendine, age 70, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Oxendine was born June 1, 1953 in Robeson County, NC to the late Hal Oxendine and Lorena Huggins Oxendine.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Lynn Oxendine and William Anthony Oxendine; and a sister, Jeanette Hunt.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold Ray Oxendine of the home; one daughter, Valerie Michelle Oxendine of the home; three sons, John Christopher Huggins (Karen) of Surfside Beach, SC, Eric Ray Oxendine of the home, and Ronald Hammonds of Fairmont, NC; two sisters: Libby Keathley (James) of Greensboro, NC, and Regina Locklear of High Point, NC; 8 grandchildren; two special friends, Selena Scott and Brenda Lockley both of Fairmont, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Fairpoint Freewill Baptist Church, 1862 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
