Connie Mae Hunt, age 68, of Fairmont, NC went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at UNC Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC. Connie was born September 24, 1955 in Robeson County to the late Stephen Hunt and the late Velma Smith Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley Hunt, Steve Allen Hunt, and Darrell Wayne Hunt; an aunt, Maggie Bell Hunt; and a sister-in-law, Linda Hunt.

Connie was a 1974 graduate of Fairgrove High School and a lifelong member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She always enjoyed taking trips with her Sunday School Class. Her favorite pass time was watching TV, especially the soap operas, playing bingo, and of course drinking her Pepsi's.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Shawana Hunt Dale and husband Alex of Hollister, NC; two brothers, Alex Ray Hunt and wife Alicia of Clermont, FL, and her twin brother, Ronnie Hunt of Lexington, NC and special friend, Retha Mae McNeill of Lumberton, NC; two grandsons, Gabriel and Lennox Dale both of Hollister, NC; three nephews, Kevin Ray Hunt (Stephanie Yountz) of Lexington, NC, Cedrick Hunt (Tina Diaz) of Homosassa, FL, and Devontro Tacoma Hunt of Fayetteville, NC; a sister-in-law, Lisa Hunt of Homosassa, FL and a host of other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 3:00 PM.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery, 198 Pleasant View Church Road, Fairmont, NC.
