Cleo Hunt, age 80, of Fairmont passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at her home.

She was born August 16, 1939 in Robeson County to the late Johnnie Hunt and the late Mary Margaret Locklear Hunt.

She was also preceded in death by a son, David Junior Hunt; four brothers, Willard, Joseph, Joe Franklin and Pistol Hunt; two sisters, Frances Stackhouse and Gladys Smith; and one grandson, Brandon Lee Hunt.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son Randy Hunt and wife Melissa of Lumberton; Annette Hunt of the home and Mary Chavis and husband Allen of Fairmont; one sister, Betty Rose Jacobs of Baltimore, MD; nine grandchildren, David Jordan Hunt, Miranda Leigh Hunt, Myah Grace Hunt, Jackson Randall Hunt, Joshua Allen Chavis, Mary Elizabeth Chavis, Christopher Oxendine, Glenn Oxendine and Brittany Hunt and seven great-grandchildren; a special caregiver, Connie Hunt.

A time of visitation will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Fairpoint Freewill Baptist Church.

A Going Home Service will be held Sunday following the visitation at the church at 3:00pm with Rev. Charles Cummings officiating.
