Ms. Cleatis Mae Sweat, age 72, of 121 Coward Dr., Fairmont died Saturday, May 19 2012 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 3pm at Fairpoint Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Cummings officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 7-9 pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont and other times at the home.

Born November 18, 1939 in Robeson County.

Preceded in death by parents, James and Beulah Sweat, also Frank Deal; five brothers, Dale, Jerry, Billy Dean, Terry and James Howard Sweat; one sister, Eula Mae Hunt.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Terry Sweat, Douglas Deal, Elvis Sweat, Erine Sweat all of Fairmont; a step son, Felix Deal of Fairmont; three daughters, Tammy Brown of North Dakota, Shirley McLean of Orrum, and Elizabeth Blanks of the home; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren; five sisters, Merlane Sweat of CA., Marie Davis of Ohio, Alfredia Hunt of Chadburn, Minnie Hunt of White Oak, and Rosie Smith of Fla.; two brothers Russell Sweat of Chadburn and James Sweat, Jr. of Fla. a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A very special nurse and close friend, Ida Jones English and Debbie Esso.
