Claudius Franklin "Buddy" Edwards, age 72, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  He was born in Bladen County, NC of April 2, 1944 to the late Donnie Jessie Edwards and the late Hilda Cook Edwards.  He previously worked for Highland Paving Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Andy Edwards; a brother, Thomas Edwards; and a sister, Dorothy Edwards Perkins.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Kathleen Harden Edwards of the home; brothers, Amos Dock Edwards of Statesville, Donnie Glenn Edwards of Bladenboro, Danny Ray Edwards of Colonial Heights, VA, James "Rabbit" Edwards, Tony Edwards, and Dale Edwards all of Clarkton; sisters, Martha Edwards Davis of Clarkton, and Jessie Lee Edwards Henson of Fayetteville.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc, 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

The graveside service will be on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. Chambers Kerns officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
