Clarence Paul Raymes, age 87, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was born in Conway, SC to the late Charlie Raymes and the late Sarah Jones Raymes.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his former wife of forty years, Elizabeth Ann Caddell Raymes; one son, John "JB" Bryant; one daughter, Joy Williams; four brothers, Luther, Robert, Otto and Bennet Raymes and one sister, Dorothy Hayes.

Mr. Raymes is survived by two daughters, Sarah Raymes (Anthony) of Hope Mills and Mary Gorton (Richard) of Fayetteville; fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will take place on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
