Mrs. Clarece Dowless Graham, age 98, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 7, 1922 to the late Acie Dowless and the late Sally Jane Moore Dowless.

Clarece was a long-time member of East Lumberton Baptist Church and she will be missed dearly. She worked for many years at Eckerd's Drugstore until retirement. After retirement, she served as a caretaker for several families. She loved her family and old Westerns.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Graham; two sons, Jerry Graham and Paul Graham, Jr.; a daughter, Janice Graham Williams; four brothers: Leo, John, Earl, and Theodore Dowless; and three sisters: Ada Rogers Jackson, Aletha Seals, and Annie Strickland.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Jeffrey Graham of El Paso, TX, Laura Graham, and Jean Martin, Clarissa Williams, and Jimmy Williams, all of Clover, SC; her sister, Betty Lovette of Lumberton, NC; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Rea and Bob Antone; and her caretaker, Christina Locklear.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020, at 2:00 PM at East Lumberton Baptist Church. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
