Ms. Clara Mae Oxendine, 104, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023. Ms. Clara was born on August 19, 1919, in Robeson County, NC to the late Daniel and Ella Edna Oxendine.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Donald Oxendine, Luther Oxendine, Everette Oxendine, Wheeler Oxendine, Worth Oxendine, and Jake Oxendine; her sisters: Mary Locklear, Henrietta Oxendine, Savannah Oxendine, Edna Oxendine, Dovie Oxendine, and Polly Ann Oxendine; and her great-niece, Lisa Reyes.

She is survived by her son, Trent Oxendine (Debra), and her daughter, Patricia Richardson, both of Lumberton, NC; and a whole host of nieces, nephews & extended family members.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sanford Chavis officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
