Christy Leigh Mizell, age 36, of Lumberton, died on Friday, October 18, 2024, in her home.

Christy was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Singleton.

She is survived by her father, Chuck Sweat; a longtime life companion, Gregory Hunt; two sons, Dylan and Darron; a daughter, Caroline; a step-daughter, Arianna "Lucy" Hunt; a brother, James "Ben" Mizell and two sisters, Nikki and Shannon Doroteo.

Christy will be remembered as being a very artistic person who loved to paint, draw, and make pottery. She also loved going fishing.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
