Christopher Ray Stanland, age 42, of Fairmont, NC passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born January 25, 1979 in Robeson County, NC.

Christopher was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Warren Stanland; his mother, Louveve Jenkins Graham; his father, Sonny Stanland; and his father-in-law, Timothy Warren Simmons, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Stanland of the home; a daughter, Hannah Stanland of the home; two brothers-in-law, Robert Lucas Simmons of Fairmont, NC and Timothy Warren Simmons, Jr. of Greensboro, NC; his mother-in-law, Brenda Simmons of Fairmont, NC; a special aunt, Wynette Callahan; and his extended family of Fairmont, NC.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Britt-Jenkins Cemetery on Tobacco Road in Orrum, NC. Following the visitation, a g raveside service will follow  at 2:00 PM.
