Mr. Christopher "Chris" Ron Hunt, age 47, of Parkton, departed this life on Friday, February 14, 2020 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on September 20, 1972.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee Hunt; his daughter, Florence Locklear; and a grandmother, Sadie Hunt.

He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Hunt of Lumberton, NC; his wife, Angie Hunt of Lumberton; his children, Christina Oxendine (Justin) of Fayetteville, NC and Ethan Hunt of Lumberton, NC; his brother, Donald Hunt (Bonnie) of Rockingham, NC; two sisters, Sharon Hunt of St. Pauls, NC, Kim Oxendine of Baltimore, MD and Kiyuauna Hunt of St. Pauls, NC; his grandchildren, Christopher, Brantley, and Khloee, all of Lumberton, NC; six nieces, six nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his friend, Gail Little of Lumberton, NC.

Chris was a family-oriented man who loved lending a helping hand.

A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00-3:00PM at Annease Drive Praise & Worship Center in Fairmont, NC.

A funeral service will follow the visitation at Annease Drive Praise & Worship Center at 3:00PM with Bishop Kenny Mitchell and Evangelist J.C. Hunt officiating.  Burial will follow at Annease Drive Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.
