Christopher O'Brian Hunt, born April 23, 1989 departed this life on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at UNC Health Southeastern, completing his journey of 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Weldon Hunt; his paternal grandmother Linda Lambert; his uncle Remondie Hunt.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother and stepfather Vickie and JC Hunt of Lumberton, NC; his father and stepmother Ron and Wendee Lambert of Rowland, NC; his maternal grandmother Nancy Hunt of Fairmont, NC; his paternal grandparents Ronald and Pamela West of Rowland, NC; step-grandparents, Charles and Lois Richardson of Rowland, NC; two sisters, Shania Jones (Anthony) and Kayla Lewis all of Rowland, NC; his daughter, Hazely Hunt and her mother Marion Hunt of Fairmont, NC; his brother Isaiah Nakaden Hunt of Lumberton, NC; his step-brothers Stephen Hunt (Carolyn), Craig Hunt, Justin Hunt, Jonathan Hunt (Harley) all of Pembroke, NC and Brian Sampson of Lumberton, NC; one aunt, Judy Hunt of Raynham, NC; five uncles, Bruce Hunt (Lisa) of Fairmont, NC, Gary Lambert, Joshua West, Ronald West, Jr., all of Rowland, NC, Terry Lambert (Rhonda) of Prospect, NC; his beloved best friend his dog Meeko; along with his nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

To know Christopher was to love him. He spent his life outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, farming, logging, and working on equipment. He was his best when riding anything on two wheels. Everyone knew and admired him for how skilled he rode his dirt bike and motorcycle. His legacy known as "Mile Marker" will forever live on in our memories.

A visitation will be held Sunday, January 29  2023 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Piney Grove Baptist church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2;00 pm. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery
