Christopher R. Courtney, 68, of Lumberton, North Carolina, peacefully passed on Wednesday, March 26th after a series of battles with cancer. He was born on August 19, 1956, to Ruth & Byron Courtney in Munich, Germany. Not only a former Sergeant with the 82nd Airborne and then Controller for McKenzie Supply Company, Chris was also a cherished Husband, Father, and Grandpa.

He is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife, Mary Courtney; his son, Adam Courtney with wife Tabitha Courtney (who are expecting grandson, Parker Alexander Courtney!); sister-in-law, Jeannine Courtney with niece Danielle Hebert; and stepdaughter, Alyson Wilson with 2 grandsons, Bradley & Aedan McKee.

Christopher R. Courtney was preceded in death by parents, Ruth & Byron Courtney, and brothers, Curt & Philip Courtney.
