Christopher Eugene Britt, 46, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at home.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Anita Chambers.

He is survived by his father, Tilman Eugene Britt; Elizabeth McMillian; two sons, Christopher Britt and Daniel Britt of the home; a brother, Ronald Britt of Bridgewater, Va.; and a sister, Tiffany Castro of Lumberton.

If you knew Chris, you knew his heart. He was funny, loyal, full of life, and he loved hard. Whether you were part of his family, just a friend or even a stranger, he looked out for you. He was the kind of man who'd give you whatever he had if he thought it would help. He didn't have much, but he gave everything he could.
