Christine Seals Ranager, 79, of 1217 E 7th Street, Lumberton, NC died Friday, February 6, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on August 23, 1929 to the late Frank Seals and Willa Rae Faircloth Seals.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ranager; sister, Jackie Woods; and son-in-law, John Pittman.
She is survived by 1son, Leonard Carol Ranager and wife, Renda of Lumberton, NC; 4 daughters, Belinda Carter and husband, John, Frankie Pittman, Dianna Blackmon and husband, Earle all of Lumberton, NC and Terry Stanton and husband, Phil of Little River, SC; 1 brother, Grady Seals of Durham, NC; 9 grandchildren, Chris Melvin and wife, Brandy, Joseph Ranager, Matthew Carter, Ethan Carter, Jay Pittman,
Bryan Pittman, Kristy Nance and husband, Jeff, Alisha Thompson and husband, David and Jill Stanton LaRue; and 4 great grandchildren, Lauren Melvin, Mason Nance, Constance LaRue, and Noah LaRue.
The funeral service will be Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Godwin Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hollway officiating.
