Miss Christine Oxendine, age 81, of Fairmont passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Lumberton Health and Rehab.

Miss Christine was born August 13, 1940 in Robeson County to the late William Thaddeus Oxendine and the late Clerice Lee Carter Oxendine.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy R. Locklear; three brothers, William Thaddeus Oxendine, Jr. (Jeff); S.W. Oxendine (Tater), and Micheal Oxendine (Fuzzy).

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Freda Oxendine of Fairmont, NC; two sons, Bobby D. Oxendine (Carol Locklear) of Lumberton, NC and Wayne D. Oxendine of Fairmont, NC; her sister, Judy Butler of Fairmont; six granddaughters, five grandsons; nine great-granddaughters, and six great-grandsons; six nieces and eleven nephews; special friends, Recie Lewis and Reatha Mayes; her caregiver, Rita Barfield; her aunt, Mary Hunt; a special cousin, Thomas Oxendine; and a host of extended family members, friends and special acquaintance's "And Loved Them All".

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2pm at Fairpoint Baptist Church Cemetery (across from the funeral home). Family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
