Christa Marie Byrd, 29, of Lumberton, NC, departed this life on Monday, November 21, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on October 10, 1993.

She was preceded in death by her father, Christopher Byrd, Sr., and her daughter, Kendall Overstreet.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Linda Byrd of Lumberton, NC; her children: Michael Overstreet, Selena Overstreet, and Zack Overstreet; a lifelong friend, Cody Overstreet of Lumberton, NC; two sisters: Priscilla Byrd and Michelle Byrd, both of Lumberton, NC; her brother, Christopher Byrd, Jr. of Lumberton, NC; her grandmother, Patricia Tracy of Cottage, SC; and numerous extended family and friends who will miss her greatly.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC,. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Lesaundri Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.

The family will be gathering at the home of Ms. Charlene Oxendine.
