Mr. Charlie Ray Hunt, age 51 of Fairmont passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Revs. Johnny Hyatt, David Hyatt, and Michael Cromartie officiating.

Burial will follow in Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday May 25, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

He was born June 22, 1965 in Robeson County. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother Almeaner Strickland; one sister, Irene Hunt; and one brother, Osrow Ivey.

He is survived by his wife Annette Oxendine Hunt of the home; one son, Cameron Hunt of the home; two daughters, Ashley Hunt (Ricky) of Fairmont, and Courtney Hunt (Chris) of Lumberton; five brothers, Mitchell Ivey, Vernon Ivey, Jackie Strickland, Val Strickland, all of Fairmont, Bobby Johnson of Lumberton; one sister, Delaine Strickland of Fairmont; one adopted brother, Jimmy Porter of Lumberton; three grandchildren, Tyee Aiden Lewis, Journee Lewis, and Kynnady Hunt; three special kids, Lea Oxendine, Kenny Caulder (Tater), and Maggie Jane Caulder; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
