Mr. Charlie Lamon Hardin, age 92, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held at Bethesda United Methodist Church Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2:00PM. with Pastor Amanda Bunce officiating. Burial will follow in Barnesville Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 1-2PM prior to the service at Bethesda United Methodist Church. He was born January 10, 1923 in Robeson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Zula Purvis Hardin, a son, Charlie Allen Hardin, a brother, Lendell Hardin and two sister-in-laws, Doris Hardin and Eva Hardin. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Hardin of the home; one son, Mickey Hardin and wife Lib of Fairmont and one daughter, Melody Hardin Floyd and husband Von of Fairmont; one brother, Felix Hardin of Fairmont; one sister, Geraldine Miller of Little River, SC ;two grandchildren, Tonya Hardin, Jeremy Hardin and wife Misty; and four great grandchildren, Sydney, Hannah, Paxton and Bailey Hardin; three special friends, Brenda Lockley, Eugene and Peggy Scott A special thank you to the staff of Golden Living.
