Mr. Charles Wilson "C.W." Arrington, 76, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 8, 1945, in Robeson County, NC to the late Charles Wilson Arrington, Sr. and Virginia Nance Jones.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Britt Arrington.

Mr. Arrington was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country in Vietnam. He was also a faithful employee of Progress Energy for 36 years, retiring in 2005.

Mr. Arrington is survived by one son, Christopher Wayne Arrington and wife Amy Haynes Arrington of Bladenboro, NC; one daughter, Cindy Arrington Howell and husband Joseph Howell of Lumberton, NC; six grandchildren: Sarah Kaitlyn Arrington, Lauren Grace Howell, Chandler Whitt Arrington, Avery Emmaline Arrington, Jenna Claire Haynes Arrington, and Charleston Wyatt Arrington; and one sister, Sue Ellen Liles and husband Alvin Liles of Roanoke Rapids, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Britt-Batten Family Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Pastor Gary Strickland and Pastor Bailey Weeks of Kingdom Place officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends and loved ones at the Arrington Family Home.
