Mr. Charles Ralph Ward, age 73, of Proctorville passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at his home. Mr. Ward was born May 26, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of Proctorville Baptist Church and coach and educator for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Ward and Helen Brown Ward and a sister, Betty Frock. He is survived by his wife, Lucille R. Ward of the home; one son, Michael Sealy and wife Cheryl of Proctorville; one daughter, Angela W. Lamb and husband Tommy of Lumberton; one brother, James Ward and wife Judy of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Clay Sealy, Casey Sealy, Michel Sealy and Chaz Lamb; one great-grandchild, Rilyn Sealy. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Visitation will follow the memorial service in the chapel. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Proctorville Baptist Church.
