Charles Wayne Turner, 67, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill. He was born July 4, 1949 in Robeson County to the late Myrtle Baxley Singletary. He was formerly employed with the Town of Bladenboro.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Turner of the home; his son, Chris Turner and wife Jennifer of Bladenboro; a brother, Horace Turner of Lumberton; two sisters: Nellie Barfield of Orrum and Edna Grimsley of Dobson; and one grandson, Alan.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bruce Miller. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
