Mr. Charles L. Maynor of Lumberton, NC, was born in March 16, 1949 in Robeson County, NC. He entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2013 at Durham VA Hospital making his journey of sixty-four years. He was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church; served on the Brotherhood and was "Grandpa" to all the kids. He was also a member of the VFW and served in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Perry and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Dianna J. Maynor, of the home; a son, Chad L. Maynor, of the home; one daughter, Crystal M. Jones of Knightdale, NC; five brothers, eight sisters and three grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday evening, April 21, 2013 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont and other times at the home of Sara Jacobs at 7461 South Chicken Road, Fairmont. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 2:00PM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church in Fairmont with Rev. Hilton Woodell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
