Charles Kenneth "Kenny" Lanier, age 58, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born August 2, 1958 in Robeson County to the late Lawrence G. Lanier and the late Mary Barnes Lanier. He served in the US Navy for four years and was later employed in law enforcement.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Brenda Joyce Lanier.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauryn Lanier of Lumberton; two brothers: Terry Lanier and Keith Lanier (Susan), all of Lumberton; and one niece, Terri Lynn Rice of Lumberton.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Chip Bass and Rev. Donnie Davis officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
