Rev. Charles Oren Honeycutt, age 86, died on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Fort Mill, SC on March 11, 1923 to John P. Honeycutt and Daisy Shoe Honeycutt. He was a graduate of Wingate College, Fruitland Bible College and Southeastern Baptist Theologiacal Seminary. He was a Baptist Minister.

Rev. Honeycutt is survived by his wife, Flora Deese Honeycutt of the home; one son, Leonard Honeycutt and wife, Linda of Jacksonville, NC; one sister, Rachel Williams of Union Trail, NC; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Worth Gerald and Dr. Mack Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:00-2:00 PM ath Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
