Mr. William Charles Hardin, age 84, of Fairmont, NC, passed Monday, February 13, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born November 13, 1938 in Robeson County to the late Fentrice Hardin and Flody Lee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leroyce Hardin, and three sisters, Hilda Parker, Rosa Lee Nealy, and Gladys McCormick.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mattie Rogers Hardin of the home; two daughters, Wanda Rabon and husband, State Bishop, Bruce Rabon of Greenville, SC and Renee Webster and husband Jeff of Fairmont, NC; a sister, Margaret Leggett of Fairmont, NC; four grandchildren: Eric Rabon and wife Holly, Travis Rabon and wife Megan, Daniel Webster and wife Sarah, and Brittani McPherson and husband Jonathan; three great-grandchildren: Caroline, Kassady, and Katelyn; and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Life Line Church of God, 871 NC Hwy. 41 in Lumberton, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC.
