Rev. Charles Franklin Davis, also known by family and friends as "PG", went home to be with the Lord and Savior on April 3, 2024. He is reunited with his beloved wife of 61 years, Yvonne Moseley Davis, who passed away in 2019.

He was born in Reidsville, NC pm July 27, 1935, to the late William Elridge Davis and Mary Alice Stokes Davis. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and a Baptist minister serving in various churches in Rockingham County, NC. He loved to make people laugh, watching westerns and he also loved his dog, Scrappy.

In addition to his parents and wife, his beloved son, Rev. Charles Daniel Davis; his beloved son-in-law, Ed. W. Yost; his brothers, John Davis, Richard Davis, Clyde Davis, and Robert Davis; his sisters, Pauline Davis Woodell Carter, Mildred Davis Gibson Chismon; and a granddaughter, Denise Yost Hamm.

He is survived by his daughter, Faith Davis Yost of the home, his grandchildren, Andrew Wall, Edel Yost, James Yost, Derek Yost, Micka Davis, Jay Michels and Avery Michels; two great-grandsons, Gabriel Yost and Gavin Yost, both of the home; he leaves to cherish his memory his nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery in Reidsville, NC.
