Charles Allen Cox, age 63, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. He was born September 1, 1954 in Robeson County to Billy Cox and the late Smithie Edge Cox.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Smithie Edge Cox; his grandparents: Lizzie & Dock Cox and Andrew & Nora Edge; and a daughter, Pamela Cox.

He is survived by his father, Billy Cox; three daughters: Donna Britt and husband Freddie, Tiffany Suggs and husband James, and Melissa Locklear and husband Jay; one son, Matthew Charles Cox; his grandchildren: Jacob Britt, Noah Britt, Austin Cartee, Boone Cartee, Hunter Howell, Pamela Cox, Myles Locklear, and Brad Locklear; and his siblings: David Cox, Wallace Cox, Gloria Barnes, Dianne Russ, and Beth Britt.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2018, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charles Brust and Pastor Lacey Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Rozier Cemetery in Lumberton.
