Charles Bryan "Chip" Smith, age 50, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. He was born in Lumberton on May 10, 1965 to the late Edward B. Smith, Sr. and the late Gloria Johnston Smith Baker. He was a former store manager of Advance Auto Parts. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Chelsea Kaye Smith; one brother Richard Karl "Ricky" Smith; one sister, Dianne Smith Britt; and his stepfather, Tommy Ruffin Baker, Jr. He is survived by one daughter, Shannon Marie Santee of Shannon; one brother, Edward B. Smith, Jr. of Red Springs; three grandchildren: Amiyah Saige Oxendine, Natalyn Raine Johnson, and Hunter Cole Santee; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Lung Association, 55 W.
