Charles Linwood Callahan age 76, of 12153 NC 130 Bypass Fairmont passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Elder Henry Head officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 6-8PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. He was born July 14, 1938 in Robeson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Demetrius Callahan and Nellie Barnes; and one daughter, Lynn Callahan. He is survived by his wife, Clo Ann Scott Callahan of the home; one son, Jeff Callahan and wife Carol of Fairmont; one daughter, Cathy Callahan White and husband James of Winston-Salem, NC; three brothers, Leroy Callahan and wife JoAnn of Little Rock, SC, Ronald Callahan and wife Jeanette of Fairmont, and Wayne Callahan and wife Beth of Fairmont; one sister, Patricia Callahan Slappe and husband Tom of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Tara Atkinson, Brandon Callahan, Rachel Diehl, Michael White, and Tyler White; and two great-grandchildren, Alexis Parker and Ruth Diehl.
