Charles Thomas Anderson, age 76, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017. He was born June 30, 1941 in Robeson County to the late Clyde Anderson and the late Minnie Belle Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Ellen Phillips Anderson; and his brother, Cecil Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Judy B. Anderson of the home; his daughter, Mary Beth Anderson Bryson and husband Joe of Denver, NC; his step-children: Sonny Britt of Lumberton, Michael Britt and wife Suzanne of Orrum, and Jami Woodell and husband Jeremy of Pembroke; two grandchildren: Charlie Bryson and Nate Bryson; four step-grandchildren: Braxton Britt, Kyndall Woodell, Haleigh Parker, and Morgan Parker; his sister, Joyce Floyd of Lumberton; and a host of family and friends.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Sunday, October 1, 2017, from 1:30-3:00 PM at Mt. Elim Baptist Church in Orrum.

Following the visitation a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Lumberton.
