Chad Thomas
Evans
Apr 21, 1971 — Jul 4, 2022
Lumberton
Chad Thomas Evans left this world on Monday, July 4, 2022, to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Chad was born in Youngstown, OH, to John Thomas Evans and Carol Jean Evans on April 21, 1971.
Chad was a jack of all trades, who loved camping, the outdoors, baseball, playing his guitar, reading, and simply spending time with his family and loved ones. Quick-witted with a larger-than-life personality, Chad was comfortable in a crowd as equally as he enjoyed his personal time. He was quick to smile and laugh and always brought a warmth to any situation.
Chad worked to learn and learned to work his entire life, always striving and growing into new things. After high school, Chad served honorably in the U.S. Army, after which he became an EMT, a captain in the fire department, and, finally, a QA Manager at SROriginals.
The center of Chad's life and spirit was always family. He loved his family fiercely – through highs and lows, ups and downs, thick and thin. And it is with that same fierce love his family will forever cherish his memory. And miss him always.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Dana English Evans; his children: Raney Alexandra Evans, Cade Thomas Evans, and Ian Connor Evans; his parents, John and Carol Evans; his mother-in-law, Gail McLean; his siblings: Darin Evans (Beth), Damien Evans (Christy), and Brandon Evans (Tracey); his nieces and nephews: Rowan, Riley, Lily, Lainey, and Joseph; his brothers-in-law, Brian English (Antonia) and Will McLean (Kristen); his sisters-in-law, Emmerson Berne (David) and Missy Daniels (Michael); and his nieces and nephews: Hunter, Luke, Faith, Kierstynn, David, Will, Caroline, Matthew, and William.
The family will be receiving friends and loved ones at the home.
A private service for family and loved ones will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Father Zacharie Lukielo Tati officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
