Ms. Cathy Hunt, age 50, of Fairmont, NC passed away Friday, March 22, 202 at Regency Hospital of Florence, SC. Ms. Hunt was born January 8, 1974 in Robeson County, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert Hunt and Annie Scott Hunt, and a sister, Robin Ann Hunt.

She is survived by a son, Justin Hunt of the home; a lifelong companion, James "JC" Flanders of the home; five sisters, Troy Ann Kirk (Toderick) of Roxboro, NC, Valentino Hunt (Gerald), Samantha Jones, Makayla Wright, all of Lumberton, NC, and Marlena Hunt of Fairmont, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Carol Bean.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC, with Rev. Timmy Hunt and Jamie Lewter officiating.

Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens, 774 Moss Neck Road, Lumberton, NC.
