Cathy Hunt, age 64, of Fairmont, NC passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 5, 1959 in Robeson County to the late Noah Hunt and the late Alice Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jim Raeford (Jim Bob) Hodge; four brothers, Buck, Tommy, Tony, and Barney Hunt.

Cathy was a loving mother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family and she loved to play bingo.

She is survived by her husband, Raeford Dayton Hodge, of Fairmont, NC; one son, Ray Dwayne Hodge and wife Sinador Hunt of Fairmont, NC; three grandchildren, Logan, Miracle, and Nakayden; four brothers, Barry, Danny, Johnny, and Noah Hunt, Jr., eight sisters, her twin sister, Katie Grimsley, Betty Jane Rowell, Patricia Ann Locklear, Betty Lois Turner, Bernetta Blanton, Nancy Hunt, Nora Jane Hunt, and Patsy Hunt; a special niece, Nikki Grimsley, and a great host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Rd. Fairmont, NC.
