Catherine Zeigler, 26, found her peace on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Cate was a loving daughter and steadfast friend to all who knew her. She loved children and animals of all kinds.

Cate is survived by her parents, David and Chris Zeigler of Lumberton; her grandparents, Hamilton and Helen Miller of Longview, TX; her godparents, Jimmy and Rosanne Miller of Waco, TX; her aunts and their husbands, Patty and Joe Jistel of Austin, TX, Mary Catherine and Mark Vasek of Wiley, TX; Elise Wooten of Waco, TX William Zeigler of Edmond, OK. She also will be missed by her cousins: Mark Miller, Emily Horton, Andrew Miller, Sara Keller, Mark Jistel, Lauren Vasek, Karen McInnes, Dick Wooten, Peggy Lee Philips and her special nieces and nephews, Alex and Audrey Miller and Emily Catherine Keller, all in TX. She will also be missed by the Davis and Nance families who ??adopted?? her as one of their own.

Cate was a graduate of Lumberton High and UNC Pembroke. Cate loved books and was an avid reader and so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tanglewood Elementary PTA??s Library Fund, 400 W. 29th Street, Lumberton, NC 28358.

A Memorial Service and a Celebration of Cate??s life will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Chestnut Street United Methodist Church in Lumberton. A visitation will be held immediately following the service in the Asbury Hall.
